Lindsey Bull lives and works in Manchester, UK. She studied at Manchester School of Art 1999-2001 before completing a postgraduate diploma and MA in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design, London in 2009. After graduating Lindsey was awarded the Brenda Landon Pye Prize 2009 and was the 2011 recipient of the prestigious Red Mansion Prize undertaking a residency in China. In 2011 Lindsey was a further prize winner at the Motorcade/FlashParade National Open, and was shortlisted for the Griffin Art Prize the following year. She has exhibited widely, most recently showing work in the group exhibitions Oculist Witnesses, Harris Museum & Art gallery, Preston, 2015; Ouija, Bloc Projects, Sheffield, 2014; L'Heure des Socières, Centre d'art Contemprain de Quimper, France, 2014; Masques, Galerie d'YS, Brussels & Transition gallery, London, 2014; Rituals are Tellers of Us; Newlyn Art Gallery, Newlyn, 2013; Creekside Open (Selected by Paul Noble), APT gallery, London 2013 and Heavens to Murgatroyd! UAL Arts gallery, London, 2011. Her solo exhibitions include Beauty and sadness, Yellow, Italy, 2015, In Disguise, High House Gallery, Oxford, 2013; Darkling, Motorcade/FlashParade, Bristol, 2012 and Out of the Cosmic Storm, Transition gallery, London 2012.
